Henley Living Advent Calendar

To compliment the already popular Christmas shopping offer in Helney, The Henley Partnership created and organised a living advent calendar to help connect local businesses and other organisations with residents who were keen to explore Henley.

The (advent) calendar of events saw 24 performances build excitement in the town until in 2013 the event saw 100 organisations taking part in everything from live music to raffles. As such, the series of events is very family friendly and appeals to a broad range of people due to the sheer diversity of what's on offer. Pubs and cafes saw increases to their early evening takes, and many formed relationships with other local traders that have gone on to produce joint marketing campaigns and a stronger bond within the local business community.
